There are still tables and tickets available for Mums & Mimosas 2020! The annual luncheon, honoring Judy Gosnell Cavendar and featuring actress, comedian and bestselling author Ali Wentworth will be held at the Mays Family Center at the Witte Museum on February 4, 2020 at 11:30am.

PAT Family Night
Our Parents as Teachers (PAT) program kicked off its first Family Night of the year on January 15 with fun activities and a pizza party. PAT is a free service for parents committed to learning more about their child's development and exploring different ways in supporting their growth. Services are open to all families participating in Good Sam's programs.
YAC First Friday
Our Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) high school youth celebrated First Friday with an excursion to Main Event where they participated in activities including playing games and climbing gravity ropes. YAC members have the opportunity for college and career preparation and regularly give back to the community by volunteering at various places throughout the year. Save the Date for Mariachis & Margaritas With a View in Wimberley!
Mariachis & Margaritas With a View benefits Camp Good Sam Wimberley and is hosted by Dodie and Dick Scott at their home located at 11030 Mt. Sharp Road, Wimberley, TX. Successful Families & Children
In partnership with Restore Education and SA Hope Resource Center, Good Samaritan Community Services is offering parents with young children the opportunity to work on attaining their GED or pursue training to prepare to enter the workforce. Raising Highly Capable Kids
Congratulations to our families who recently graduated from our Raising Highly Capable Kids winter session. National Mentoring Month
January is National Mentoring Month, which focuses national attention on the invaluable and rewarding contribution that mentoring makes and seeks to involve more mentors to ensure young people in our communities have dependable people to look up to. At Good Sam, we c ould not fulfill our mission without the work of our volunteer mentors.
