Hall of Fame Laureate Spotlight:

Jim Ellis

At 23-years-old, Jim Ellis became the founder, president and CEO of the video store chain Movies To Go, Inc., which quickly grew to the largest privately held, independently owned video chain in the country. After merging with Blockbuster, Mr. Ellis began serving as Senior Vice President of Development, taking the company to new heights, and even expanding to Europe. He then proceeded to found Ellis Diversified, Inc., a real estate development and investment firm, which focuses on multi-story high-rises.

The Limited Partnership Committee Leaves an Unlimited Legacy

After 20 years of partnership, the Limited Partnership Committee has decided to move on from planning this outstanding event. This Committee has consistently gone above and beyond to create an incredible evening of food, fine wine and fun for all. We thank them for their dedication, commitment and support in helping to raise significant funds that have support JA programs.

Junior Achievement of South Florida will continue the tradition of this fabulous event and looks forward to its continued success. Please keep an eye out for a Save the Date announcing the event, which will be held sometime in early November.
