Savoring it all in Sonoma County
February in Sonoma County is a time for savoring favorite tastes and discovering new delights, for relaxation and rejuvenation, and - of course - for romance. People come here to get away, to reconnect, to experience, and to simply enjoy.

Everything kicks off with the Pliny the Younger release at Russian River Brewing Company from Feb. 1 to 14, and Visit Santa Rosa offers a "beer passport" activity throughout the month of " FeBREWary."

For seafood fans, there's the Tides Wharf Crab Feed (Feb. 1 and 22, March 1 and 25) in Bodega Bay and the Great Sonoma Crab and Wine Fest (Feb. 2) in Santa Rosa. For those who love artisan spirits, the Wine Country Distillery Festival debuts Feb. 9 with a cocktail competition, food bites, and live music.

Valentine's activities vary from the Little Red Haired Girl celebration (Feb. 14) at the Charles M. Schulz Museum to the Whole Lotta Love: Led Zeppelin Burlesque (Feb. 9) at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, and the Wild Jungle Love special tour at Safari West Wildlife Preserve & African Tent Camp (Feb. 16-17). And of course, nothing says romance quite like fine wine paired with chocolates and other gourmet goodies at one of Sonoma County's more than 425 wineries.

Be sure to mark your calendar and get ready for Restaurant Week 2019, March 1 to 10. It's a great opportunity for locals as well as visitors to discover favorite new eateries. Learn more at sonomacounty.com/restaurant-week.
