Expresslink General Agency is proud to announce that Don Knife, Director of Small Group Sales, and Sam Starr, Director of Worksite Benefits, have joined the Expresslink team.

Knife has spent the last 35 years working in the group health insurance market. He was most recently with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in NE Ohio for 25 years working with agents on their small business group benefits. Don played a crucial role in Anthem's strategy and plans for the Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) and acted as Anthem's liaison with NOACC. 

"Don's knowledge of the industry, insurance companies, and the Ohio broker market will be extremely helpful for those working with ExpressLink," said Blair Larrance, one of the principals of Expresslink.

Sam Starr started his insurance career in September 1999 specializing in voluntary worksite products. Starr then spent 14 years as a carrier representative working with many clients, associates and brokers communicating the need and value of worksite benefits. In 2014, he partnered with a General Agency that provided agents access to the top carriers in the worksite/ancillary field while also providing them creative strategies on enrollment and implementation. He later started and lead his own successful agency.

"Sam's 'hands-on' experience in the worksite benefits arena will be invaluable for Expresslink brokers who want to round out their clients' benefit program with these popular products," Larrance added.
