A Word from the President
As we head into February many of our minds jump right to Valentine's Day, beginning to plan that special day for the person we love.  I ran across a quote the other day that seemed appropriate as we make our Valentine's Day plans: The most desired gift of love is not diamonds or roses or chocolate. It is focused attention.  A nice thought to remember on Feb. 14 and throughout the year.

February is more than 'the month of love' - it is also National Heart Month.  Please join us for our upcoming events, including our Feb. 13 luncheon at Providence Medical Center that includes a presentation about heart health. You can read more about our upcoming events and register below. Hope to see you there!

UPCOMING EVENTS

February is National Heart Month. As the No. 1 killer of women, cardiovascular diseases forces us to consider that a woman we know and love may be affected at any age. Fortunately, we can change that because 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action. Join us for lunch on February 13th, 11:30am to hear from Dr. Katrapati on how women can help prevent, be aware of symptoms and treat heart disease.

We will meet in Auditoriums B & C at Providence Medical Center.
Cost: $20 for members, $25 for non-members.
