Many, many thanks to all of our wonderful monthly and quarterly donors! Receipts for your 2017

donations were mailed or emailed to you last month. The Ignatius Jesuit Centre's work continues to increase its sustainability through strong revenue projections thanks to all of our ongoing donors.

Book Launch - Tues March 20 @ 7-9pm at Loyola House. Launching James Clarke's Stray Devotions, one of Novalis newest publications from their Spring 2018 lineup. And, Novalis author and Spiritual Director at Loyola House Eric Jensen, SJ will be discussing his newest title, Ignatius Loyola and You. Read more here.

The Poetry & Ecology Project - Thurs April 26 @ 7pm

What does poetry have to do with the local environment? Come and find out! A presentation of seven leaflets on Food, Water, Trees, Wild Creatures, Flowers and Pollinators, and Degraded Land.

Come and hear about this project from Redeemer University College professor, Dr. Deborah Bowen and student researchers, Elise Arsenault, Liane Miedema, and Joshua Voth. Reading by local poets Madhur Anand, Anna Bowen, and Greg Kennedy, SJ. Music by local group Magpie. Read more here.

Farm Workshops -

Family Seedling Workshop:

Looking for family-fun during the winter break? Head over to the farm for a workshop about starting seedlings for your home garden or community garden plot! Each attendee will leave with a tray full of seedlings to take home.

DETAILS: Wed. March 14 @ 10am-12pm at the Ignatius Farm

Greenhouse. Cost is $15/child and $30/adult for those registered for a 2018 community garden plot or CSA share, or $20/child and $40/adult for unregistered. Email [email protected] to register.

Minga Seedling Workshop:

Ignatius Farm has partnered with Minga Skill Building Hub to offer a workshop all about seedlings. Join Farmer Becky Pearce for a hands-on educational experience and bring home a tray of seedlings for your own garden!

Looking for a different summer experience? Consider this year's Walking Pilgrimage from Guelph to Midland - August 4-11. The Walking Pilgrimage is about nourishing your spirituality, enjoying the great outdoors, getting great exercise (20-30 km per day), and having fun & enjoying good company.
