On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, the Rev. Alan Hughes
passed away
at his home in Gresham, Oregon. There will be a private gathering of friends at the Hughes home.
Father Hughes was born on January 28, 1934 and was the beloved husband of Susan. He received a BA at the University of Wales in 1954.
H
e served at the Church in Wales before transferring to the Diocese of Pennsylvania in 1976
where he was
canonically resident. He served as rector of Church of the Redeemer, Springfield from 1981 to 1989
.
Rest eternal grant to him, and let light perpetual shine upon him.
