The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting TGIF again for 2019 on the 4th Fridays from May through August. TGIF is a community event. No admission fee. Live music by The Jacob Doss Project. Craft beer, wine and Budweiser products are available for purchase, so bring your I.D. Check our facebook page for information on which local food truck will be on site. Bring your TGIF attitude, a lawn chair and friends and enjoy a fun filled evening out.

UBD Old Timer's Game - Seeking Players

Calling all former Altavista and Gretna baseball players, teams are forming now for the Uncle Billy's Day Old Timer's Game. It's not too late to join the teams. If you played for Altavista or Gretna before 2000 and you are interested in playing, contact the Chamber office today. Players will receive a personalized t-shirt with their name and number printed on it.There is a small commitment fee for players to help cover the cost of the personalized t-shirts. Sonny Merryman Wins Awards
Sonny Merryman again achieved President's Club Platinum status at the annual Thomas Built Buses Dealers Meeting and Banquet held in Denver, Colorado. For the fourth consecutive year, the Sonny Merryman's parts team has achieved Gold Level status, the highest ranking possible. Out of more than 60 trainers throughout North America, Daniel Droog, Sonny Merryman Trainer, was named the 2018 Trainer of the Year for the second time.
