Expect the unexpected. Expect miracles. A real turn-around is possible now. Angels are dancing around you. Leave behind thoughts, memories and feelings that are no longer serving you and remember the love that you are. Move into your heart and allow that love to shine out into the world. Then miracles can happen.

I always ask God to guide me as I pull these cards and this week's card was definitely no exception. I hit the cards to rid the stagnant energy from the last pull, and then I intuitively pick a card. When the Expect Miracles card came up - I knew two things immediately -
1) God always hears my prayers
2) Miracles are natural occurrences that happen when the channel for Love is open and I am willing to receive the guidance.
So, though a little thrill of OMG this is so like cool, did appear in my mind - I also was like - "Whoa Heaven really IS nearer than my hands and feet!" as Dr. Rev. Beckwith says.
Now let's unpack this message.
On Sunday, we have the privilege of a talk where we get to ask questions about Miracles.
You may not be aware, but Center of the Heart hosts A Course in Miracles Study Group every Wednesday night @ 7:15pm (though this upcoming week we agreed to go to IANDS meetings which meet on 2nd Wednesdays @ Unity) - The Course is lead by Muriel Guilbaud, RScP, who is also ACIM Minister.
This is but one opportunity to learn how to expect miracles and express daily them in your life. There are many paths to God and the cessation of separation. But luckily there is this one conveniently located at the Center.
Now back to the card explanation.
We all have our inner Doubting Thomas. Our egos truly want us to believe we are like astronauts floating in space tethered by a cord all alone in cold and dark space.
Well the thing is we forget that even if we sometimes feel alone and frightened, that we come equipped with a special skill -
We can change our thoughts about how we are feeling, and then almost magically, supernaturally, the panic, the fear and the doubt will dissipate. It's a muscle that we must remember we have and learn how to exercise it here and now, as much as we can.
. Ask and it shall be given
. This means, if you're lost, you need to ask for directions!
The Holy Spirit - personally for me, was a concept that I couldn't get my head wrapped around. My earlier forays into spirituality as a child, sort of scarred and scurred me. So, the religious concept of the Holy Spirit was tossed in the back room of my mind, along with other Trinity folk because it seemed spooky. My ego stated for me that all that stuff is divisive and confusing - so I won't believe in any of it!
Flash forward to ACIM and how Muriel helped reframe it all for me.
She suggested that I think of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Innocence - a superpower to be sure that we all have. Imagine deep within you, there is a responsive higher guidance - that is akin to the innocence you possessed as a child. Incorruptible, everlasting and as much a part of you as your breath.
But that's not all! When you call upon your Holy Spirit of Innocence, it clicks into place and envelopes you in pure loving grace, gently providing you with exactly what you need - be it peace, the dissolving of fear, increasing your confidence or a brand new idea.
Years will fall away in an instant. Illusions evaporate and disappear. All that is left is a direct and complete enfoldment in the arms of God. You can be fed, held and healed in one glorious instant.
Let this thought marinate a moment.
In a holy instant, you are separated from pain, fear and the illusion of lack and you are free to just be you. The you that is timeless, whole and absolutely and utterly supported.
So I'm not surprised that the Holy Spirit card appeared for us all this week!
So that other important message that I gleaned from this card is simply "MOVE INTO YOUR HEART"
There is a reality that is outside of the current maddening one that is broadcast constantly. An inner realm that no matter what is going on - it is your personal Shangri-la - you "Calgon take me away" place where love abounds
A place where the only currency is love. That's your heart. This is your own cathedral, supercomputer and compass.
I feel very blessed to have pulled this very special card which is a reminder that we are not ever without the protection and peace of God's love. We are, (each one of us) packing the heat of that force always.
Here's some questions to ask yourself:
- What if I surrendered my fear truly and embraced a more loving and gentle explanation of God?
- Who can I be if I'm not carrying guilt, worry and shame all of the time?
- What would my life be like if I trusted Life with innocence of a child?
