March was National Social Work Month, a month to honor
social workers and case workers for their dedicated efforts and recognize their valuable contributions to our communities.
From July 2017 - June 2018 CBN staff assisted with over 18,000 contacts made with clients to help them with benefits and entitlements, advocacy, supportive counseling, and other vital services. Together, they saw 500 new clients last year.

Carter Burden Network Dancers at LiveOn NY's Annual Conference on Aging
Our CBN Dancers performed at the opening of LiveOn NY
's Annual Conference on Aging at The New York Academy of Medicine in
January.
They danced to two different songs, "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner and "These Boots are Made for Walkin" by Nancy Sinatra - the room was revved up which set the tone for
a day of learning and networking among NYC aging services professionals.
