Co-Presidents Message
We could not have been more proud to be members of the Dons family last Wednesday night. APC, along with our terrific support partners (Acalanes Booster, Acalanes Performing Arts Boosters & LPIE), helped to welcome incoming freshmen and their parents at an all new "How to Get Involved at Acalanes" event.  It was a tremendously welcoming event with lots of school spirit from all aspects of the school.
Students had a chance to meet coaches and athletes from each of the 22 sports, connect with members of a variety of student clubs on campus, say hello to Leadership students, play a little ping pong, grab a hot dog, and purchase some Acalanes swag. The event turned out a high number of incoming freshmen and their parents and our entire Acalanes community teamed help them make an early connection to Acalanes.
Our Parent Education program continues to be in full swing as equity transformation specialist Dr. Lori Watson led an engaging parent workshop titled Introduction to Courageous Conversation About Race . We also hosted an informative transition workshop for our senior parents who will soon be sending their children off to college.
Finally, juniors and seniors enjoyed a wonderful evening at Junior and Senior Prom held at the Academy of Sciences. A BIG thank you to our student officers, Prom Chairs and junior and senior class liaisons for putting together such a memorable event! We appreciate all your time and energy.
We know the next four weeks will be a sprint to the end of the year and we hope you will take a moment and recognize how lucky our students and their families are to be part of Dons family.

With your support, the Wellness Center will now have an outside garden area, the attendance office will be able to get a much-needed renovation/update and all can look forward to an election simulation in the future.
