Palm Sunday Worship Announcement

This coming Sunday at the beginning of the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services, gather in the Sun Hall at the North End for our Palm Sunday Litany and Procession. All are welcome to grab a palm branch from the basket as you enter the church.

(There will be no procession of palms at the Saturday 5 p.m. worship. Please take a palm as you enter the church and bring it with you into the Sanctuary.)

Order Your Easter Flowers By April 15

Help celebrate Christ's resurrection on Easter Sunday by purchasing Easter flowers. The plants will be used to decorate the sanctuary. Dedications in honor of loved ones are encouraged. After Easter services, you can take your plant home. Order forms are located at the church desk and the bulletin board. Orders are due back no later than Monday, April 15 . Download form here .

Crown of Glory Call Committee Update

Thank you to Bishop Ann for visiting Crown of Glory last weekend. We had a very productive and informative discussion about the Associate Pastor call process. Congregation members shared with her the gifts and talents the congregation brings to our church as well as the expectations we have of our new Associate Pastor. Thank you to everyone who participated in the discussion. To read a more detailed update, click here .

Our Call Committee continues to partner with the synod staff and we will receive candidate names and profiles in the weeks following Easter. Please continue to hold the Call Committee in your prayers as we take these next steps in the call process.

Congregational Survey Follow Up

Thank you for the overwhelming response of surveys that were completed by congregation members. We received 155 completed surveys. Our Church Counsel and Survey Team are compiling the results. Dates will be announced for "round-table" opportunities for members to review the results. Round-table meetings will be announced following Easter.

Sanctuary Flooring Update!

The Flooring Team met in early April and is now exploring layouts for the sanctuary flooring. Currently, there is blue tape on the sanctuary floor. Please do not pull up or remove the tape. Thank you.

In the coming weeks, we expect to receive flooring samples for members to view.

Palm Sunday Brunch and Fundraiser!

As our Lenten journey draws to a close and we begin Holy Week, please join us for our first ever Palm Sunday Brunch. Our Senior High Youth Mission Trip participants are excited to partner with our Men's Pub Ministry team to host a pancake brunch from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 14.

The menu includes delicious blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, juice, and coffee. Cost is $8 per person / $20 per family.

*Brunch will not be served after the 10:30 a.m. service*

Palm Sunday Silent Auction to Support Youth Mission Trip!

On Palm Sunday weekend the Men’s Pub Ministry will be offering two “Home Brew” themed baskets for silent auction. All funds will go to support our senior high youth Mission Trip. The baskets will include home brew from Pastor Reggie, Mark Gilson, and a couple other of our best home brewers. Also included in these baskets will be beer paraphernalia from local brewers. The baskets will be available for viewing the weekend of Palm Sunday. Must be 21 years old to make a bid. Bidding begins on Saturday evening, April 13, and closes at 12 p.m. on Palm Sunday, April 14.
