Gaining Valuable Experience through Internships
From high atop NASA's Gantry, Virginia Wesleyan senior Cody Lichvar experiences the environment where the Apollo astronauts were trained to land on the moon. This incredible experience and many others are part of Lichvar's internship with NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, an internship that first began in February 2017 a nd continue s through the spring 2018 semester.
 
Lambuth Clarke Memorabilia Donated to Virginia Wesleyan 
Alice Clarke, former first lady of Virginia Wesleyan, presented 32 volumes of memorabilia on March 27 from her late husband Lambuth Clarke's 26-year tenure as president (1966-1992).

Celebrating the Life of Trustee Emeritus Robert Friend Boyd  
Virginia Wesleyan Trustee Emeritus Robert "Bob" Friend Boyd passed away April 7 at the age of 90. He was the last surviving member of the University's founding Board of Trustees.
