Una Celebracion Cubana
Sunday, April 22, 5:00 p.m. at Hope Presbyterian Church
In 2012, Hope Presbyterian Church formed a sister church relationship with La Fernanda Reformed Presbyterian Church in Havana, Cuba. On May 27, eight members of Hope Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church will be leaving to visit La Fernanda Reformed Presbyterian Church, returning on June 4. The week will be filled spending time with members of La Fernanda through Bible study, worship, mission work, and visiting in member's homes. Other Presbyterian Churches in the Havana Presbytery will be visited to learn about the work they are doing in their neighborhoods to improve people's lives.

On April 22, you are invited to hear about the trip and how God is working through La Fernanda in the poor Havana neighborhood in which they are located.  The main course and beverages will be provided. We ask those attending to bring a salad or dessert. Please reserve your spot with Pastor Kyle.

A free will offering will be taken with proceeds going to benefit the youth of La Fernanda and to help fund their vacation Bible school.
CAN (College Age Network)
It's finals time again for our First Pres college students and we'd love to send them a little bit of love and joy amid all the stress that finals can bring! We will be sending letters and gift cards to all of the college students at the end of the month. If you would like to donate money or $5.00 gift cards (to places like Starbucks, Target, Wal-Mart, or fast food), please drop your donations in the office by Tuesday, April 24. If you have any questions, please contact Nancy Goodwin.

The Wildlife Center is a native wildlife rehabilitation facility that provides care and medical treatment to injured and orphaned wild animals. If you plan on attending contact the church office.

If you are able to furnish a meal for that family, respond to the requesting email to sign up for a particular date.
