Helpful Transition Tools for Parents

The Missouri Interagency Transition Team offers parents the following resources (click on the underlined link)-

 

This pages, hosted by the Governor's Council on Disability, was developed to help parents of and professional who work with special needs children.  It is organized in five categories; Health, Education, Post-Secondary Education and Employment Assistance, Advocacy and Protection Services, and Independent Living.
 
Transition Planning Resource Locator
This PDF tool is organized by school Building level; Elementary, Middle School, High School, and Post-Secondary.  It can be used electronically to locate specific resources.
  
This report gives information on services provided by various agencies who support children with special needs.  It also profiles project from around the state which are interagency collaborations to support these children.

Tools for Life Transition Summit
Registration Now Open!

 Registration is now open for the 7th Annual Tools for Life Transition Summit. The Summit is an exciting opportunity for students with special educational needs to receive important tools that they will need as they to journey into adulthood. The Summit takes place on October 28, 2015 in Jefferson City. Register today.
