Conscious Kindness Day
On May 16th, 2018, United Way Central Alberta celebrated its first annual Conscious Kindness day. The day was proclaimed in several communities across Canada served by United Way.
To celebrate, we asked individuals to commit conscious acts of kindness to show how much they love the community they live.
numerous attempts to heal and leave my past in the past. I did find ways to adapt, none of them healthy.
I was referred to ACAA because of depression and unresolved grief. My ability to function in life was unraveling, and I had given up hope of ever being able to escape from my past.
This was the theme of Canadian Mental Health Association's(CMHA), 66th annual Mental Health week. We thank them for their leadership in helping us understand that mental health, like physical health, is part of all of us.
