RITZVILLE ART IN THE PARK
May 24. 25. 26th Ritzville, Washington
For those of you who haven't done this show, first of all, it is small. Secondly, it has been a struggle to keep it going, Ritzville is a very small town with not a lot of people to draw from to volunteer to run it.
HOWEVER it is right along I 90 on a holiday weekend (it does not run on Monday because most folks are headed home) and each year they increase the number of signs along the interstate to draw people in. And Ritzville is a major gas/refreshment stop for travelers with truck stops, major fast food restaurants..even a Starbucks and Mickey D's, and the park location is only a block or two from that interchange. Also some new major motel chains.
The Ritzville people are very friendly and love the show. There are many large ranches in the area, they can and do buy art. I sell very well there.
I have added travelers to my mailing list who do live in other areas where I do art shows. I can see those people at other times.
The park location is beautiful, large shade trees and good lawns. You can pull right up to your booth to unload and load back up. It may be outdoors, but it sure beats hot pavement. Pet friendly, too.
Quality crafts are invited, too as well as fine art. The usual rules apply, your work only
you all know the rest.
I love this show. I want to keep it going. We need shows, big and small, places to sell our work... and reach new buyers and collectors. This one is worth supporting.
Consider doing this show. Entry fees are low. Please pass this information to other artists you know, forward this email if you'd like. any artists wanting more information can contact me email or by telephone, 208 265 9613
