As you get older there's a natural inclination to reflect back on things. When I think back, I am so grateful that I landed where I did at the time I did.
Shortly after returning home from my short-lived college experience, I began working at Capital (1984); in the warehouse to be exact. For me, everything just clicked. Right industry, right timing and most importantly good people. We have some awesome people in this industry.
We also have a team of good people working at Capital who go above and beyond for customers, for vendors and for their co-workers every day. We have customers and vendors that we have been blessed to know for decades-growing together personally and professionally. Many of these good people have also become dear friends that we can't imagine living without.
My point here is if you look around and notice, you're likely surrounded by some really good people too. If you're not, get out and change your environment. Life is too short not to be around good people.
