2018 ILS Retreat and Annual Meeting
Bonita Springs, FL *   May 18 - 20, 2018  

Our Section Retreat will take place on May 18-20, 2018.  Because of the proximity of the new Retreat dates to The Florida Bar Annual Convention, the ILS Annual Section Meeting will also take place during the Retreat on May 18-20, 2018, in Bonita Springs.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs at the rate of $199 single/double occupancy. Follow this link to book your reservation online with the special ILS rate, or call the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa at (888) 421-1442.  Refer to group "Florida Bar International Law." Reservations must be made before April 27, 2018 or until sold out.  After April 27, 2018, the group rate will be granted on a space available basis. 
 
The group rate is available three days pre-and post-conference based on hotel availability, and the resort fee of $30 per day has been waived. This program includes welcome beverage for 2 at check-in, self-parking, 2 bottles of water daily in guestroom, coffee maker w/complementary coffee & tea, daily newspaper, 24-hour fitness center, 3 pools, lawn games, lazy river access and inner tubes, ferry transportation to the resort's secluded island, beach chairs and umbrellas at the resort's beach, rock climbing wall, bicycle rentals, resort trolley transportation to marina, Raptor Bay Golf Course and Coconut Point Mall (3 x daily), DVD rentals, golf bag storage, electric car charging stations and 10% discount off services at Stillwater Spa.

Request for Expressions of Interest Regarding Potential Public International Law and Human Rights Committee and Potential Asia Committee

The ILS will consider proposals for the reactivation of the Asia Committee and for the creation of a new Public International Law and Human Rights Committee at the Retreat and Annual Meeting in Bonita Springs on May 18-20, 2018.  Section members who are interested in learning more about the proposals or joining in the preparation of the proposals, please contact Tyrone Afrasan Adams at tyrone@francoeur-law.com for the Public International Law and Human Rights Committee proposal and Neha Dagley at neha.dagley@dagleylaw.com and Susanne Leone at sl@lex-international.com for the Asia Committee proposal.  All proponents of the two new committees are strongly encouraged to attend the business portion of the Retreat and Annual meeting on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
