King will reflect on her journey and share insights on career direction and smart decision-making. She will discuss reasons for a shortage of female leaders in the investment management industry globally.

Allison L. Pedro will add a Bermuda perspective on how non-traditional career paths may broaden your outlook and strengthen leadership skills in finance roles.

Erinn R. King, CFA
Managing Principal, Payden & Rygel

Based in Payden & Rygel's Boston office, Erinn R. King is responsible for client relations and business development for East Coast and global clients. She also serves as liaison to the firm's London office and the Metzler/Payden joint-venture.

Prior to joining Payden & Rygel, King was a vice president at Wellington Management Company, LLP, where she held roles in fixed-income portfolio communications and insurance relationship management. King also worked for Concordia Capital LLC prior to joining Wellington.

King is chair of the board of directors for the CFA Society Boston. She is also a trustee for Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre.

King holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. She earned an MBA in Finance at Boston University and holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Oklahoma.

Allison L. Pedro, CFA, CPA, CRM
Director of Financial Reporting, Fortitude Re

Allison L. Pedro is responsible for standalone GAAP financial reporting, Bermuda regulatory reporting, and US statutory reporting for Fortitude Re and its US affiliates. Fortitude Re is licensed and registered as a Class 4 and Class E reinsurance company in Bermuda and is a reinsurer of general insurance and life insurance run-off business.

Previously, Pedro was Chief Financial Officer, Diversus Inc., a US medical malpractice insurance group of companies, and held operational, risk and compliance roles at Nanometrics Inc. in Ottawa, Canada, a high tech manufacturer of seismology equipment. Pedro established and led the Corporate Finance practice of KPMG Advisory Limited in Bermuda.

Pedro's designations include Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, and Canadian Risk Management.
