In the 2018 election-year session, counties expected twists and turns. We came away with a renewed commitment to local road funding, new state support for multiple locally-administered programs, and many worrisome or costly mandates defeated or deferred.

In this week's roundup, we cover the final disposition of all legislation MACo testified for or against, sorted by subject area. This was a very successful session for counties that positions our local jurisdictions for the year of transition ahead.
