Gianna Meckler, a junior at Evansville Day School, has been selected for this summer's Health Science Institute (HSI).

This year is the 27th year of HSI. The two-week long program, sponsored by Deaconess Hospital and the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, allows area high school students to experience medical careers first-hand, thereby helping them make informed career decisions in the future.

Day School Community Highlights

Missing something?  Be sure to check the lost and found areas at the office and the Primary School rainbow hallway.  There are several coats, shirts, hats, mittens and water bottles that are missing their owners.

Primary School Peace Week
Primary School students are participating in Peace Week activities this week.  They are painting Kindness Rocks, sewing NICU flannels, writing stories, doing dance and performance arts, and enjoying special daily topics.

Middle School students had a week of experiential learning this week.  The students explored the mind, body and human spirit through special sessions and through field trips including a culinary field trip to Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center, the University of Southern Indiana Health Fair, Tri-State Athletic Club, and New Harmony.  Our eighth graders even enjoyed a trip to St. Louis this week as part of their study.
