Citrin Creates Value with Teamwork

One of the things that we love about Citrin Cooperman, a national accounting and tax services firm, is that they always take the "team effort approach". And on June 5th, their team effort was obvious a s they worked in dreary weather to repair and beautify the home of Ms. Wade.

"I can't thank Rebuilding Together and these volunteers enough. I've managed to live with multiple disabilities and in all my years I've never had anyone do so much for me. It really is a blessing and I am grateful that you've been able to fix up my 'forever home'," said Ms. Wade.

Because of Citrin's investments of money and volunteer time, we were able to...Read more here

Hawk Handyman Volunteers Support Summer Lowe's Project

Throughout the year, Rebuilding Together Montgomery County (RTMC) has the great fortune of employing the help of ten amazing volunteer handymen.

June is National Healthy Housing Month

In June, we celebrated National Healthy Housing Month! The first step toward a healthy living space is knowing whether or not your home is actually healthy. If you'd like to know whether or
not you're living in a healthy home, you can use the 8 principles of a healthy home outlined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a guide -

1. Dry
2. Clean
3. Pest-free
4. Safe
5. Contaminant-free
6. Well ventilated
7. Well maintained
8. Climate controlled

Take a look at the HUD website for more information about Healthy Housing Month and how you can make sure your home is safe, healthy, and dependable for years to come.
