The premium service took home six NAMIC Vision Awards, which recognize original programming that is reflective of the lives, spirit and contributions of people of color that best reflects the ethnic and cultural diversity of the viewing audience.

TruTV has announced that it will re-air the documentary, which examines the stereotypical nature of The Simpsons character Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, this Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

The missed opportunities are greatest with Millennials, with 20% identifying as LGBTQ, according to GLAAD, significantly higher than other generations, and higher than other researchers. Pew Research's latest survey finds that about 4.1% of the U.S. identifies as LGBT, and 7.3% of those between the ages of 18 and 37.
