Jency lost a tooth in first grade this week.
Ian was awarded an athletic scholarship.
Teachers and parents get to celebrate many of life's bright spots with students, and then also the low valleys.
It is rewarding to follow a student's progress, and a K-12 education allows the long picture to be seen. As Ian and his fellow seniors smile for the traditional photos, it is easy to remember Ian and Madeline and other older students when they had a tooth missing in the first grade. Wiggling a tooth and working out dorm housing seem miles apart, but the space between needs to lead someplace. As we now prepare for next year's improvements, that space is the focus.
As we host a mix of elementary and secondary activities just about every day for the ending two weeks, we will be celebrating students and their talents and efforts. Thank you, parents for all of your efforts and encouragement to help your students toward spiritual development, maturity, and academic preparation.
