Spring has established itself and the miracles of life are all around us. Wherever I look, there are flowering trees and bushes, tulips, irises, daffodils, lilacs, bright green leaves and much, much more. In the theme of this new growth, I will be attending two substantial teacher trainings this spring. It's the first time I am taking two in a year, not to mention in just a few weeks time. I am very excited and look forward to being stimulated within my practice, learning, and growing as a teacher.
This month I will be participating in Rodney's Yoga Immersion in Northampton MA. As some of you know, I have been up there several times over the last 10 years for this almost week-long training. I will have a substitute teacher on Thursday the 23rd for the 9:30am morning class as well as for the 7pm evening class. My colleague, and long time student, Nicola Weiner will be filling in for me so that you can still have a practice while I am at the training. I am really glad that she has agreed to this, and hope that you will enjoy her great understanding of the practice and wonderful sense of humor.
In the beginning of June I will spend a few days at Kripalu to attend their first International Yoga Nidra Conference. There will be 12 different teachers sharing their take on the practice. I hope to deepen my understanding of this wonderful practice, and share it all with you in the upcoming fall and winter season.
