April News & Events!
The Mission of Child Care Links is to provide resources that strengthen and support children and their families.

A message from our CEO, Kelly O'Lague Dulka:

When I joined the staff at Child Care Links three months ago I knew Child Care Links was an incredible organization but I had no idea how much amazing work was being done here to strengthen and support families.

Here are a few ways we fulfill our mission:
  • We ensure that families have access to high-quality child care.  We provide Child Care Resource and Referral services.
  • We provide parents and care givers access to a variety of necessary resources.  These resources include tangible goods like diapers, literacy materials and car seats and intangible things like parent education and support.
  • We provide coaching, training and support for child care professionals.  In-home child care providers, licensed and exempt centers and caregivers who are family, friends and neighbors can all take advantage of the trainings we provide.
  • And, we serve as a resource to families who need financial assistance to be able to pay for child care.  We know that keeping parents in the workforce is one of the best ways to getting families out of poverty!  Bottom line, we support and advocate for the most vulnerable families in our community!
We invite you to join us in strengthening and supporting families!  Here are some ways you can get involved:
  • Volunteer to help with our Diaper Pantry.  Host a diaper drive, come help when the Pantry is open, donate a box of size 4, 5 or 6 diapers.  It's fun to know that you're changing diapers and changing lives!
  • Donate your gently used clothing or kids' books.  Our goal is to get age-appropriate books into every home in Alameda County.  A lofty goal for sure, but you can help!  Donations can be dropped at our Oakland or Pleasanton offices during normal business hours or by special arrangement on weekends.
  • Mentor a parent.  Moms helping moms and dads helping dads - such a powerful way to change a family's life.  Could you share your parenting "best practices" with another mom or dad?
  • Donate an auction item.  We are having an auction fundraiser to support our Diaper Pantry and other community programs during the month of May and could use any gift cards, gift certificates, sports or event tickets or just about anything that can be auctioned off!

If you'd like to learn more about the important work Child Care Links is doing in your community or if you'd like to volunteer, send me an email ( [email protected])
I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks for your efforts to strengthen and support families.  Together we can change lives!
