Not everyone will agree that a pun is the finest of word plays. But the jokesters at CG&A COMM have always treasured punny material.

You will find a bevy of pun posts in the By George Journal archives. Recently, we have attracted attention sharing pun memes via Facebook and Twitter. So, with this newsletter, we have decided to spread the joy and dedicate the issue exclusively to "the pun."

Enjoy!

Sadly, no matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.

By George presents six of the punniest memes we have seen in a while....

Now, if you are smirking at these, you will have to click to the  By George Journal for our most recent post:

Plus, we ask you to send us your favourite puns - whether they be memes, shaggy stories, or one-liners. By George Journal will repost as many of the punniest puns as we humanly through the next two weeks.

A fellow once sat up all night wondering where the sunshine comes from....

Finally, it dawned on him.
So there was an Inuit out hunting seals in his boat and he found that his feet were beginning to freeze. Carefully shaving off little strips of wood from the frame he was able to get enough fuel to start a small fire by his feet. Unfortunately, the hide covering of the boat caught on fire as well and his entire craft was consumed by flames. This goes to prove that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

A marine biologist developed a race of genetically engineered dolphins that could live forever if they were fed a steady diet of seagulls. One day his supply of birds ran out, so he had to go out and trap some more. On the way back, he spied two lions asleep on the road. Afraid to wake them, he gingerly stepped over them. Immediately, the biologist was arrested and charged with transporting gulls across sedate lions for immortal porpoises.
