For 85 years Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio has been changing lives through the power of work in Toledo and throughout the Northwest Ohio region.

Last week, they celebrated the grand opening of their new headquarters in Uptown Toledo. Throughout 2017, Goodwill served 1,919 individuals with job readiness skills and placed many of them in competitive jobs.

Bittersweet Farms has joined the Chamber and become a corporate member of EPIC Toledo. Founded in 1983, Bittersweet is the first farmstead program for adults with autism in the United States.

In 2018, Bittersweet's residential programs support a total of 43 adults, and 79 adults receive vocational services in their day programs. 

On Wednesday, March 14, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce launched a FREE online course A Dose of Reality for Employers - a toolkit to help mitigate the risks associated with the Ohio Opioid crisis. 

This free program was developed to help employers manage the risks associated with the drug epidemic that is facing our communities, impacting our businesses, and touching the lives of employees and their families. 

The City of Toledo will hold public meetings on the 2018 street repaving program in each of the six Toledo City Council Districts.
