The People's Protectors National Premiere is this Memorial Day

Four Native American veterans reflect on their experiences in the military during the divisive Vietnam War and how their communities helped them carry their warrior legacy proudly. From the Marine Corps to the Navy to the US Army, veterans Valerie Barber, Art Owen, Sandy White Hawk, Vince Beyl, and civilian eyapaha (announcer) Jerry Dearly recall their memories of one of the most controversial wars in United States history.

All Give to Lincoln Day donations go toward the 2020 biennial Vision Maker Film Festival.  This Lincoln, Nebraska film festival brings inspiring and relevant Native films to the region and gives filmmakers a chance to engage in positive and important conversations  with our community.

Vision Maker Media to Attend PBS Annual Meeting 2019
Vision Maker Media team along with Jeffery Palmer, producer of Words from a Bear, will be attending the PBS Annual Meeting on May 29-31. 

The PBS Annual Meeting is the premier gathering of public television colleagues and decision-makers representing PBS' 158 member licensees. This national event brings together general managers, programmers, producers, development leaders, and promotion, communication, education, and digital professionals to spotlight PBS content while sharing new and innovative ideas to meet the changing funding and media environment.

Seeking Entries for the Native Film Showcase
Vision Maker Media and Native POP: People of the Plains are seeking film entries for the Native Film Showcase, held in partnership with South Dakota Public Broadcasting in Rapid City,  on July 20, 2019. Along with a Native film showcase, Native POP will also feature a fashion show and a juried Native American fine art show featuring original work by established and emerging Native visual artists focusing on the Great Plains.
