WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Over the past 10 years, non-clinical leadership roles in the health care sector have expanded, and there have been greater opportunities for other professions (beyond nursing and medical) to assume these exciting and strategic positions. This workshop will highlight the many facets of today's compelling 'leader', to explore the value that occupational therapists bring to the role and provide key insights to support those who may be interested in making transition from clinical to non-clinical practice.

**Lunch and refreshments will be provided**

Join Beth and Carey as they facilitate your learning in the following ways;
  • Review and apply foundations of leadership in the healthcare system. Including; self-awareness, engaging others, strategy and systems, coaching and mentorship.
  • Reflect on personal and professional leadership development, career conversations, and leadership goals.
  • Learn about the experiences of and network with occupational therapy leaders.
