Spring Cleanup 2018
Broomfield is growing, and so is the Spring Cleanup Program! 
This popular program provides residents an opportunity to dispose of large, non-hazardous items. New this year, the city and county will be divided into four areas. Your area may have changed from last year.  View area maps to determine your pickup day. 

Summer Program Guide
The Summer Program Guide is in the mail! Patrons can view the program guide  online or pick up a hard copy at the Paul Derda Recreation Center, Broomfield Community Center, Broomfield Library, or the George Di Ciero City and County building.

inventHQ
Coming Soon - inventHQ, Broomfield's new makerspace, an all ages collaborative workshop dedicated to hands-on making and community learning. Located on the second floor of the newly remodeled  6 Garden Center, the space includes 3D printers, sewing/ embroidery machines, small board electronics and more! Small Business Series - NEW!
Sign up for business classes from experts in the field. Topics include Profit First, Building a Website, Search Engine Optimization, and Quickbook Basics. Classes held at the Broomfield Library. Registration required.

Open Space Speaker Series
Wednesday, April 4 at 7 p.m. at the Broomfield Library - "Keep the Field in Broomfield": Colorful Recollections about the Preservation of Your Broomfield Open Spaces.  Read more...
Kids' Fishing Derby
Saturday, May 5, 2018 - This free, all-inclusive fishing event is great for beginners or experienced fishermen, ages 6 to 12 years old. A brief introductory fishing clinic, poles, and bait are provided. Registration required. Read more...

Broomfield 100
The Broomfield 100 gives you the opportunity to explore the beauty and diversity of nature in your own backyard. Share the wonders of the great outdoors with your children, have fun, win prizes, and be healthy at the same time! More information coming soon!

Summer Reading Programs
The Broomfield Library's Summer Book Adventures for children, teens, and adults, runs from June 1 through July 31. Mark your calendar - online registration begins May 14.

Bright Ideas
Watch the  video  of the NEW Bright Ideas Series spotlighting interesting people, doing innovative things that impact our community. This collaborative series is sponsored by the Broomfield Library and Westminster Public Library to create a platform for changemakers. The ne xt talk will be at the Westminster Public Library on June 7, 2018,  featuring the award-winning Phamaly Theatre Company.
