In an ongoing effort to deliver safe and reliable energy to Seattle-area customers, Puget Sound Energy's natural gas system maintenance program has been underway in your neighborhood since February. The work requires PSE to replace the existing, underground natural gas main, installed in the early 1980s, with corrosion-resistant plastic main. Seattle Youth Employment Initiative
Educurious is thrilled to announce the launch of the
2018 Seattle Youth Employment Initiative . Internships are a powerful way to provide learners with early work experiences that help them gain confidence, competencies, and the drive to thrive beyond school.
You can help! The City of Seattle and Educurious are diligently working to provide opportunities at scale, and hope to have 200 new organizations join a collaborative network of employers who are investing in our area's young people by hosting an intern (or interns!) this summer.
Will you join us? On-boarding, training, and support is provided.
If you're unable to participate this year, will you help us advance the goal by spreading the word among organizations you know who may be interested in hosting an intern?

15th Ave East Workshop
10am-12pm April 28
Do you call 15th Avenue East on Capitol Hill home? Join your neighbors and share your vision for the future of 15th Avenue East!
Board and Vellum and Environmental Works are both located on 15th Avenue East. Just like you, we're passionate about the place we work, dine, socialize, and for some of us, live! We know there are a lot of changes coming to our little corner of Capitol Hill. With the recent community push to try and save our 15th Ave East Hilltop Station, we want to address the importance of having community input early in the design process, rather than before construction begins.
This workshop is for the 15th Avenue East community; this workshop is for you! The event is free, open to the public, and kid-friendly. We encourage you to join and share your ideas for 15th Avenue East. MORE INFO
