The Broomfield Library offers Summer Book Adventures for ALL ages - children, teens, and adults!
The last day to register is Monday, July 23, and the last day to turn in logs and get prizes is Tuesday, July 31.
Tuesdays, June 5 - July 24, 7 p.m. - Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Join us Tuesday evenings in the Broomfield Auditorium for free summer films! Seating is limited and available on a first-come,first-served basis. Children under 13 must be accompanied by someone 13 or older.

Hey, teens, come learn about GPS scavenger hunts! Explore how geocaching works and collaborate to find geocaches around the library. For ages 11-18.
Summer Dance Party

Get ready to dance the night away! In this program for the whole family, we will enjoy dancin' and rockin' to some new and old kid favorites! Parents are encouraged to show off their moves with their kids! For families.
A Brief History of Colorado Through Time

Enjoy an animated journey through the geological history of Colorado, created by the Interactive Geology Project, and participate in a discussion with professor Paul Weimer, Director of the Energy and Minerals Applied Research Center. For ages 15+.

Colorado 14ers: Intro to Conquering Them

Learn what you need to know before you climb a 14er! This presentation by local experts from Jax Mercantile will include information on helpful supplies and clothing to bring with you, as well as the different skill levels required for some of the more popular hikes. For ages 15+.
Early Literacy Fair (FREE!)
Saturday, July 21, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Come to the library to play and learn with your kids! Experience many fun, hands-on early literacy activities you can replicate at home to help prepare your child for school and life. Sign in near the library lobby entrance. Each participating child will receive a free book, courtesy of Bal Swan Children's Center. The Early Literacy Fair is presented by If Not You, Who? Let's Talk: You In Nature
Saturday, July 28, 1 - 4 p.m.
Let's Talk is a series designed to promote community conversations to allow for compassion and a broader understanding of the human experience. In this session, equine therapist Pam Thode will give a live horse demo and discuss how her trainings support mental health. Then, Kelley Rawlsky will lead a horticulture therapy exercise and discuss the role of horticulture in mental health. For ages 13+.
