Success Stories

With the help of an army of dedicated volunteers, Neighbor to Neighbor assisted 158 Larimer County households with over $14,992 of financial assistance in April this year. Below are words and stories of just a few of the many people impacted by your kindness and generosity. Thank you for helping us make a difference in people's lives.

"I was hopeless and didn't know what to do. Neighbor to Neighbor led me in the right direction for other resources, such as disabled services, and I got help with my deposit and first month's rent. Now I have a home for my family.
Thank you so much for all of your help!"

"I lost my job in February and by the beginning of April my funds were gone and I was facing eviction. I was feeling very overwhelmed but N2N was able to help me and I am so grateful! I immediately felt welcome and they helped me look at my budget and other assistance programs objectively. The advice I was given on programs to help my situation was spot on. N2N saved me and my daughter and you can see how much they care and want to help people. I was treated with dignity, respect and humor when I needed it most. Thank you so very  much!"         -Homelessness Prevention Recipient

"My car needed an emergency repair and it was costly to the expenses. I couldn't pay and I need my car to get to work to pay rent and all my other living expenses. N2N helped me with 2/3 of my rent and I was able to come up with the balance due. They were extremely kind and understanding. They encouraged me to attend a budgeting class to assist in sustaining my life from here on out. I am so grateful for the help I received."
