Round-Up at Black Bear Diner
Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta is a proud supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of the Siskiyous through their on-going Round It Up America program. This program invites customers of Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar to support one of three local nonprofits and we are one of them. While individual donations may be nominal, their collective sum is powerful, supporting the dream of a brighter tomorrow for more children in Siskiyou County. We encourage you to participate, and spread the word to family and friends about this deliciously delightful fundraiser!

Edgar Felix

Edgar Felix is a bundle of joy, and his joyful energy has spread throughout the Club ever since he became a Club member last year. He has built a relationship with every staff member and many Club members that continue to grow each day. He was so excited to have his younger sister, Dominique, join the Club, he would give her tours at pick up time before she was old enough. Edgar is an emerging leader at the Club. He is always one to raise his hand to volunteer, whether it is to be a Club Ambassador to give a Club Tour, to help pick up trash, to help water the garden, to help serve snack or to help the staff get the group's attention. Edgar loves to play computer games and he as taken it upon himself to help the staff keep track when it is computer lab time and when it is not. Most recently, Edgar attended the Kids Day Festival with his family and came to the Club's booth. When he saw the length of our face painting line he offered to help face paint, one of his many growing talents.
