This Week at BJBE
May 28,  2018
A Note from Sally Sachar, Executive Director

Dear Congregants -

We hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, and that your official start to summer is off to a good start.  A few points to highlight.

ABOVE THE FOLD REMINDERS:
  • Please RSVP for BJBE's June 4th Annual Meeting. In addition to voting on the 2018-19 budget, and board slate, we'll have updates from key areas of the congregation.  The meeting begins at 6:30, with the official start of business at 7 pm. You can RSVP here. We hope for a robust turn-out, and for that to happen you need to join us!
  • We encourage all of you who have not yet received a BJBE key card to come to see Larisa at the office to get your key.  Please email ahead to her to let her know you need a key, and she'll have it for you the week of June 4.  We are grateful for your engagement with BJBE's The Key to Security is Your Key initiative!
For current and incoming JLC families , you should have gotten registration information last week, and an email from Missy. If you did not receive this communication, please contact Debbie Heywood.  If you have questions about ShulCloud, please contact Anne Robbin and if you have school questions, please contact Missy Bell. We are piloting ShulCloud, our new database and communication/payment platform, with school registration. There will be snags along the way, as always happens with these database transitions, so please be in touch with our office if you have questions or concerns.

Related, in the coming weeks we will send more information about our broader launch of ShulCloud at BJBE, but please make a mental note that we are targeting July 1 for our official congregation-wide roll-out, coincident with the beginning of the 2018-19 fiscal year. The ShulCloud platform is easy to navigate and also will include a smart phone app which will make accessing the Temple directory and key information much more convenient!

Please mark your calendars to come to our annual Leadership Shabbat on Friday, June 8th at 7:30pm. We will be welcoming our new board members and leaders, including our new Senior Youth Group Board, Sisterhood Co-Presidents, and BJBE board members, and also thanking board members and leaders who are transitioning off.

BJBE has a robust summer program. Click here to learn all about what's happening at BJBE and at outdoor venues nearby!

Have a wonderful week!

-Sally
