Students who don't have other Super Bowl plans are invited to join us in Heritage Hall to fellowship with our Family Promise guests and one another as we watch the Big Game (and the commercials!). Feel free to bring a snack to share.

WEEKLY PROGRAMS UPDATE
Sunday Morning Bible Study - Out of Step
Sundays, 9:15-10:15 am | Student Ministry Area (2A)
We're continuing our new series "Out of Step" in which we are considering the many facets of our lives in which we who are following the Way of Jesus are called to be out of step with the world around us. In February we'll be discussing technology, social media, stuff, and relationships - our relationship with Christ should transform our relationship with each of these, but how? We need you to show up so we can wrestle with these big questions together!
Student Growth Groups
Wednesdays, 7-8 pm | Student Ministry Area (2A)
Join us each week as we dive deeper into relational discipleship by reading & memorizing Scripture and being community for one another. This semester our focus is 1 Corinthians; each week we're reading a chapter of the epistle and memorizing one verse of chapter 13. Remember, we ask students to be present, prepared, and participate to help Growth Groups be all they can be.

If you didn't get a chance to read my thoughts about the Growth Group model back in the Fall, I'd encourage you to check it out here. I'm always available to answer any questions you may have. We hope to see many of you each Wednesday evening!

Here's our schedule for scripture reading and memorizing in February:

February 5 - 1 Corinthians 4 & 5 | 1 Corinthians 13:4
February 12 - 1 Corinthians 6 | 1 Corinthians 13:5
February 19 - 1 Corinthians 7 | 1 Corinthians 13:6
February 26 - NO GROWTH GROUPS (Ash Wednesday Service)
Sundays, 6:00-7:30 pm | Student Ministry Area (2A)

A Resource For You:

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is MBBC's primary mission partner and denominational affiliation. (It was this Baptist family which helped present the Winter Youth Summit in January - which I think all who participated agree was an AWESOME event.)

CBF is beginning a journey to discover where God might be calling us next as we move forward as a movement. They're asking for YOUR input - we are Baptist after all.

Please take a few moments before the deadline - THIS Sunday, February 2 - to take this survey . This is an opportunity for everyone - Students, Parents, Adult Leaders, everyone! They need to hear from you! Thanks for your help!
