NOACA ISSUES AIR QUALITY ADVISORY
NORTHEAST OHIO ( Issued Friday, May 25, 2018 ) –  An Air Quality Advisory for ground-level ozone has been issued for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties. The advisory will be effective through Friday, May 25, 2018. Air quality levels will be 'Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups' during this period.

Avoid open burning. Smoke resulting from burning leaves and brush, other vegetation, as well as backyard trash contains a number of hazardous air pollutants.

Limit the use of gas powered yard equipment and construction equipment. Particles and chemicals released during gasoline combustion can aggravate asthma.

Choose public transportation. Its safe, easy and affordable!
