Policy Reminder...Early Pick-up

Although we discourage students from missing school, we understand that there are times when a child must be picked up early. Please communicate all such plans by e-mail to your teacher, as far in advance as possible, to arrange any missed work. Parents  must park in the parking lot and come to the front office to sign your child out. Please note that early pick-up ends at  3:00pm. I f you arrive after 3:00pm, you will need to pick-up your child in the carpool line. Early pick-up is intended to be used as an exception and will not be allowed on a regular basis. Routine early dismissal is disruptive to the student(s) and the entire class.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Cinco de Mayo

This year at World Compass Academy, Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated during the Spanish classes on Friday, May 3, for the students enrolled in the Spanish program. The Spanish teachers have already sent an email to the parents regarding the details.

Special Attire (for students in Spanish classes):

Girls may wear a Mexican dress, blouse and skirt.
Boys may wear a Mexican shirt and pants.

Questions? Please contact your student's Spanish teacher.

4th Graders Experience Buffalo Bill

WCA 4th graders were given an awesome opportunity to kick-off their Colorado History Unit with an onsite Buffalo Bill Experience. They heard from  " Buffalo   Bill"  about the development of the frontier, including the legends who traveled the same ground that the kids walk today...Annie Oakley, Sitting Bull, and Kit Carson. The students learned about the Pony Express, Oregon Trail, and the Colorado Gold Rush, all colorfully told in a first-person, 45-minute costumed presentation.

Please Return Library Books

Please return all library books by May 10 to avoid replacement fees. Mrs. Stringer has distributed notices for overdue books. Please ask your students if they received a notice. Thank you!
