A Note From Pastor Linda

May the LORD reward you for your kindness. ~Ruth 1.8

Dear Church Family,

Thank you for the tremendous response in time, talent and treasure. Thank you for offering up our mission post, our church home, transformed into a MobilePack site. Thank you for the many prayers that surrounded our entire event. Did you know that every single bag of food was prayed over before it left the building? EVERY SINGLE BAG!! And it will be prayed for again when it leaves the Distribution Center. And so begins the journey of feeding people around the world, truly turning HUNGER into HOPE with your two hands. (See the results below!)

About FMSC and our MobilePack partnership, did you know:

  • FMSC consistently receives the highest awards for accountability and transparency, with more than 90% of total donations dedicated directly toward feeding kids in need.
  • MannaPack Rice is FMSC's original food formula and is an excellent source of protein, carbohydrates and key nutrients, culturally acceptable worldwide for anyone over the age of one. FMSC produces two other MannaPack meal formulas to address specialized needs.
  • FMSC does not have its own staff distributing food around the world (over 70 countries!). They donate meals to an exceptional, trusted network of missions and humanitarian organizations. OVER 95% of all FMSC food makes it to the stomachs of hungry kids- by planes, trains, trucks, boats, bicycles, donkey and more. AMAZING!! Prayer works!!
  • Volunteers (like YOU!) pack all the meals and donations pay for them. FMSC does not receive free ingredients or government aid.
  •  Food assistance is a vital component in the process of transitioning individuals, families and communities out of chronic hunger and poverty, and into self-sufficiency.

My friends, YOU made a difference. Save the date for 2020: April 16-18!!

Be The Church!

 ~Pastor Linda
