4-H Summer Fun programming Martin County 4-H has a variety of summer programming available for ALL youth! 4-H members and non-members are invited to join in on the fun! All of our programs are either FREE or offered at a considerably low rate with scholarships available! Spread the word!
HELP NEEDED: 4-H Science Fun/HyVee Day Camp We will be needing help to pull off the 4-H Science Fun/HyVee Day Camp on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Sylvania Park in Fairmont.
2019 Animal lease information is available. New forms this year! The Minnesota 4-H program allows the leasing of animal science projects to encourage a greater number of members to have the opportunity to experience the showing of livestock projects. The 4-H member will gain hands on experience in managing and showing the 4-H animal science projects through the cooperation and mentorship of local animal owners.
Livestock and Auction Committee spring meeting Mark your calendars! The Livestock/Auction Committee spring meeting will take place at the Courthouse on Thursday, May 16 at 5:15 pm!

Aksarben Stock Show Procedures and rules are changing The Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Stock Show will take place in September. 4-H Office Staff will no longer be working with the DNA sample or the verification process. 4-H families interested in participating will work directly with Aksarben
CANCELED: Martin County 4-H Club Leaders Circle on May 8 The May 8th Martin County 4-H Club Leaders Circle has been CANCELED. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 25. The Club Leaders Circle brings our current Club Leaders together with the 4-H Program Coordinator to look at upcoming 4-H deadlines and updates; openly discuss with other Club Leaders to share ideas and find solutions, and try out potential club activities or lessons.

All youth currently in grade nine - one year post high school are invited to participate in a 22 day theater arts/leadership/team building experience at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The 2019 Arts-In experience begins Aug. 8.
Register now for 4-H Dog Supersession! 4-H'ers in third grade and up, their families, trainers, and youth and adult dog project leaders are invited to attend 4-H Dog Supersession on May 18 at the Twin Cities Obedience Training Club in Minneapolis. Registration and payment are due by May 11.
Attend statewide one-day livestock trainings
Summer activities and outings require planning ahead to avoid risk. Utilize the "keeping youth safe" risk management planning tool, guidelines, and policies before activities and outings are offered to 4-H members.
Register your team by May 15 for the 2019 Minnesota 4-H Engineering Design Challenge! The challenge is designed for youth in grades 3 through one year past high school. Great for developing team building, communication and decision making skills, all while having fun!
A 4-H Crop Scouting event will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019 in rural Benson for 4-H and FFA youth currently in grades 7-12
4-H Agronomy tours will be held on July 10 (Renville area) and July 17 (Benson area).
Cottonwood County 4-H is hosting a 3 day horse clinic June 11-13 at the Windom City Arena.
