Clients have asked for one simple indicator on a med profile that shows a participant's medication-related risk. Our parent company, TRHC, has proven the value of the patented Medication Risk Score through health plans and provider group partnerships. Now we are releasing the score to PACE through EireneRx. We're preparing the CareKinesis patient and caregiver app, My MedWise Advisor®, for Phase 1 release! This app integrates with EireneRx to provide participants and caregivers with access to their complete active medication list, reminder alerts, pharmacy communication tools, and more. Clinical Analysis: Heartburn Drugs & Stroke Risk
Preliminary results from a study conducted by a Danish group and entitled Proton Pump Inhibitor Use Increases the Associated Risk of First Time Ischemic Stroke: A Nationwide Cohort Study were presented at the prestigious American Heart Association Scientific Meeting. Such provoking results may, at first glance, significantly impact clinical practice and drug use. However, have these results been confirmed by other studies, and is the clinical community ready for such changes?
