Our end of the year "Awards Assembly" will be held in church at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, May 25th. We would love to see you in church!

OUT OF UNIFORM

All students and staff may be out of uniform on Friday, May 25th. This will be a half day with dismissal at 11:00 a.m. We will have bus service.

2018-2019 GYM CLOTHES

Please click the link below to order your child's gym uniform for the 2018-2019 school year. This gym uniform will be worn all day long for students in grades K-8. All K-8 students will be required to wear the gym uniform on their specific gym day. Gym shirts, shorts, and sweatpants with our new school logo are available. Sample sizes of the gym uniform can be found outside of the school office, please stop in to check sizes before ordering. This on-line order form will be available until May 30th.

SUMMER WORK

Summer Solutions Math books were sent home today for all students K-7. Summer reading books that were ordered through school are being sent home today as well. If you did not pre-order your books, the summer reading list is attached. Summer work needs to be completed by the first day of school which is August 16th.

MAP TESTS

Map Test scores will be sent home through the mail. Both fall and spring scores will be on the Student Progress Report that you receive. Please click the link below to help you better understand the Map test score results.

REPORT CARDS

You will be able to access your child's on line report card through Sycamore between June 1st and June 6th. After June 6, the program rollover begins and you will no longer be able to view the 2017-2018 information.

SUMMER TUTORING

Some students will be required or recommended to be tutored over the summer so that they will be well prepared to enter the next grade level. You will be receiving information in the mail if your child's teacher feels the need for them to be tutored over the summer. If tutoring is required for your child, your child must complete at least 20 hours of tutoring by a certified teacher. Below is a list of SJS teachers that plan to tutor over the summer.

THANK YOU FROM MRS. BARTH

After 48 years of teaching many wonderful students, I am retiring. I could not have asked for a better school at which to spend my teaching career. I enjoyed meeting new children each year and working to prepare them for their future endeavors.

Thank you for the cards and well wishes, as well as the beautiful necklace presented to me at the Wednesday Mass last week. The celebration at the all school Mass was a perfect way to celebrate my years at St. Joseph School since the participation in those Masses will always have a special place in my heart, just as all my years all my years at SJS will.

I would also like to thank all those who attended 9:30 Mass on Sunday. It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces and to receive all the well wishes.

Cavalier Congrats
