Cancelled: KydZonE & Teen Summer Camps
 
KydZonE & Teen Summer Camps have been cancelled as District Staff continue to review the Youth Development Division of the Recreation Department. Once completed, our goal is to bring back a safer, more innovative, and especially fun environment overseen by professional staff. Summer Concert Series Recycling Program

The District is implementing a new recycling program for all the summer concerts! Please be prepared this summer by educating yourself of what is recyclable verse what is garbage! The District also needs responsible individuals 14 years and older to help volunteer and implement this program!  Click here for more information!
Field Aerating

Aerating is being completed at all District owned athletic fields and several school sites that the District has joint use agreements with! Aerating assists in allowing air, water, and other nutrients to infiltrate the soil and root structure of the sports turf. Top Dressing is occurring at Community Park, Kalithea Park, and Allan Lindsey Park.  Top dressing mainly assists in providing a level playing surface and improves the soil health for sports turf to thrive during the summer months.
2018 -19 Sustainability Project
 
We are near completion  of the 2018/2019 Solar Construction Project! Solar panels at Community Park are installed and trenching is near completion. To celebrate this monumental project, join us on Wednesday, June 19 for an Energy Saving Project Celebration! There will be food trucks, games, and live music from the Island of Black & White! Asphalt & ADA Renovations Project
 
In coordination with the 2018 - 19 Energy Project, the EDH Community Park Asphalt and ADA Renovations Project has begun.The entire asphalt project, inclusive of walkway replacement, ADA parking improvements, asphalt repair, resealing and restriping, is anticipated to take approximately six (6) weeks, concluding just prior to the Grand Opening on June 19, 2019.  Click here for more information!

Community Clean Up Day!
 
It is time for spring cleaning and we are here to help! Come down on
Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Rolling Hills Church, 800 White Rock Road, and drop off your junk! Click here   to learn what can be accepted and what cannot.
Preseason Pool Hours

The Community Pool is open on weekends starting, Saturday, May 11.  Regular preseason weekend hours are 12:00 to 4:00 PM. May 11 and May 18 hours will be from 2:00 to 6:00 PM due to swim meets. 
Trucko De Mayo

The first of six Food Truck Festivals starts on
Wednesday, May 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM! Come down and experience all different kinds of food with a beer and wine garden with live music! Start your summer off right and join us that night!

Discover Plymouth Wine Country

Join us for a day of beautiful sceneries, great food and a variety of different wines to taste on
Friday, May 17 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. We will be stopping at two outstanding wineries, Villa Toscano and Bella Piazza, in Plymouth, CA. Here you will have the chance to taste outstanding wines from each winery and have a delicious lunch, created by Head Chef Michael Powers in Villa Toscano's gorgeous courtyard. You can do all this while taking in the wonderful sites of each winery. It will be a trip to remember!  Register here.
Senior Luau Party

Join us at the EDHCSD Gym on Friday, May 24 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Gilmore Senior Center is hosting a Luau Party for seniors ages 50 and older!  The event includes entertainment, information about available programs, and lunch! Pre-registration is required. Please call the Gilmore Senior Center at (916) 358-3575 to sign up.

Pee Wee T-Ball

Boys and girls ages 4 to 6 are welcome to join our Pee Wee T Ball sports camp! It is every Thursday starting on May 9 until May 30. Call the Registration Office to sign up today!
Registration for the camp closes on Thursday, May 2.
Try Archery!

If you've been curious about how to get started in Archery, the El Dorado Hills Bowmen invite you to join us to "Try Archery" on Saturday, May 11 from 8:45 to 11:30 AM. No experience or equipment necessary. Our USA Archery Certified instructors will take you through shooting and equipment basics, and teach you what it takes to get started in the great sport of Archery!  Click here to register.
