Storytelling Workshop with the Bee
Have you got a story to tell about The Great Outdoors? Hone your story and your telling skills in this participatory workshop with Giuliana Serena and Nan Seymour of SLC's The Bee.

An intensive combination of guided writing prompts, oral storytelling exercises, and practical instruction will help you in crafting a short story from your life to share on stage at PCPL's Storymine Live Event on August 2nd - or just for fun!

Giuliana and Nan are experts at providing encouragement and creating brave space for people to be themselves together. Participants of all experience levels are welcome - even if you don't consider yourself to be a "storyteller" at all!

There is no cost to participate, however, pre-registration is required. Space is limited and we do anticipate filling up. Visit thebeeslc.org/greatoutdoorsworkshop for additional details and sign up.

Presented in partnership with the Park City Public Library the Park City Toastmasters.

This event will be held on July 10th at 6pm.
Jim Gill in Concert
On August 18th (at 1:30pm and 3pm), get ready to sing, clap, dance and sneeze along during this visit by award-winning musician and author Jim Gill. Jim Gill's distinctive music play creates the spirit of a family room in the concert hall and is an invitation to children, parents and grandparents to sing and play together!

In concert, Jim strums energetic rhythms on his banjo while everyone claps, sings, dances and even sneezes along to the silly and inspiring musical games that he creates.

The concert will feature songs from his newest CD release, Vote For Jim Gill!
Jim will also lead families in active favorites such as "Spin Again" and his "Silly Dance Contest!"

Learn more about Jim Gill on his Facebook page. Stay up to date with this event on the Library's Facebook event!
