Reminder: No School on May 25 & 28

All district offices and campuses will be closed on Friday, May 25, and Monday, May 28. May 25 was a designated bad weather make-up day, but is now a student and staff holiday. May 28 is Memorial Day.

Summer Office Hours

Beginning Monday, June 4, and ending Friday, August 3:

Monday-Wednesday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm with a 1/2 hour lunch
Thursday, 7:30 am - 5 pm with a 1/2 hour lunch
Friday, all campuses and offices are closed

All campuses and offices will be closed during the week of July 2-6.

Summer Air Conditioning Schedule

To provide a comfortable workspace for teachers to prepare for the

2018-19 school year, the air conditioning in classrooms will operate under the following schedules beginning July 30:

July 30 - August 1, (Monday-Wednesday), 8 am-5:30 pm
August 2, (Thursday), 8 am-5 pm
August 6 - normal a/c schedules begin Monday-Friday

Staff Spotlight:

Jay Montya, CTHS Math Teacher & Fishing Club Sponsor

Named West Division Advisor of the Year by THSBA

Chisholm Trail High School math teacher and Fishing Club sponsor, Jay Montya, was named the West Division Advisor of the Year by the Texas High School Bass Association.

The CTHS Anglers have advanced to the Regional Championships three times under his direction. This year, they advanced to the State Championship for the first time and placed sixth!

Congratulations, Jay! We are #emsproud!
