COMMUNITY BUILDERS CLASSCOMMUNITY
Amazing Opportunity for Next Year's Seniors: Milton Community Builders Class is seeking Milton High School seniors (Class of 2019) to mentor, tutor, and inspire elementary students at Hembree Springs Elementary School.

We are looking for a variety of students who are able to tutor in basic math and reading while exhibiting flexibility, patience, honesty, strong communication skills, great organizational skills and a hunger to help others. If you feel that you fit this description and would like to make a difference in the life of young people, the Milton Community Builders Class is the place for you!
Students must have open time in their academic day to participate in this program and must have a driver's license and their own transportation.

Please fill out this form by April 10 if you would like to be considered for the Milton Community Builder's Class. See Mrs. Denney in 4209 with any questions.
STUDENT CHECKOUT PROCEDURESCHECKOUT
Procedure To Check a Student Out:
  • The student must bring a written note from the parent or legal guardian to the attendance office in the morning to receive a pass out of class.
  • This note should include the student's name, grade, reason for dismissal and the time the parent or guardian will pick the student up.
  • We cannot accept phone calls or emails to check students out.
  • If an early dismissal note is not provided in the morning, a student may be called to the front office for check-out only when the parent/guardian or emergency contact arrives in the front office with a government issued ID (driver's license, passport, Fulton County employee ID).
  • You may be asked to wait until a class change to check out your child.

Your cooperation with this procedure is requested as it minimizes interruptions to classroom instruction.

Students will not be checked out after 3:00 PM.

Only students with a displayed valid parking pass are allowed to park on campus. Students without a valid parking pass and/or not parked in their assigned space will be subject to tow.

Parents/visitors who park on campus must park in visitor parking (first two rows on the stadium side) and check in at the front desk. Failure to do so may result in being towed. No one is allowed to park their vehicle anywhere on campus for unofficial school business unless given permission by administration. Failure to get permission may result in your vehicle being towed.

We have very limited parking on campus and we need everyone's cooperation. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Coach Sylvestri at  sylvestrig@fultonschools.org
CLASS OF 2018 RED ENVELOPESREDENVELOPES
ATTENTION PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF GRADUATING SENIORS
Following our wonderful Milton tradition, we are once again giving relatives, friends and teachers an opportunity to honor our senior students by sending them a special letter of congratulations on their upcoming graduation in May 2018.
We will carefully keep these cards and letters for each student and distribute them after the Senior Breakfast. Every senior will receive a large RED ENVELOPE containing these messages and well wishes. The letters and cards will be kept confidential until they are given to the students at the breakfast.
You can drop off your cards and letters at the front office in the box labeled "RED ENVELOPES" or you can mail them to the school using the following address:
STUDENTS FULL NAME
c/o Milton High School PTO - April Petros/RED ENVELOPES
13025 Birmingham Highway
Milton, GA 30004

ALL CARDS AND LETTERS SENT TO THE SCHOOL OR DROPPED OFF MUST BE MARKED "RED ENVELOPE" ON THE OUTSIDE TO ENSURE DELIVERY!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RED ENVELOPE CARDS AND LETTERS:
Please keep in mind that letters will be collected for over 500 students. It is imperative that you follow these guidelines:
  • SEND ONLY CARDS OR LETTERS 8 ½" X 11" OR SMALLER
  • DO NOT SEND PACKAGES OF ANY KIND
  • DO NOT SEND ANYTHING OF VALUE (i.e.: cash, checks, gift cards) we can't be responsible for it.
  • If sending several envelopes inside a larger one, PUT THE STUDENTS FULL NAME ON ALL ENVELOPES.
  • Keep letters and cards FLAT. You will be asked to come to school to pick up items which do not meet the above criteria.

ALL cards and letters MUST BE DELIVERED TO SCHOOL BY MAY 4, 2018. We encourage you to send your letters as early as possible. Let's show the Class of 2018 that they are indeed special to us and that we acknowledge their achievements of the past 12 years!
