We Are Giving Away More FREE Mulch Today & Tomorrow!

We are giving away FREE mulch this Saturday and Sunday at Coral Reef Park!
On Saturday, December 16th and Sunday, December 17th, we will be giving away more free mulch at Coral Reef Park, from 8 am until noon. Come in your truck and pick up your free mulch, or we will provide it in a bag.
You will be asked to show your ID and provide your name and address. We will also document how much mulch you picked up. This information is required in compliance with FEMA regulations. There are no quantity limitations and Palmetto Bay residency is not required. This giveaway is open to the general public. We will provide bags as needed. Also, please remember that this mulch came from landscape debris and other wood materials and that it is not treated in any way. The mulch pick up, its application and use is at your own risk.
Please use the SW 77th AV entrance at Coral Reef Park to pick up your free mulch.

We hope everyone will make the Palmetto Bay
Holiday Celebration
tonight starting at 5 pm until 9 pm at Village Hall!
Holiday Celebration
was formerly known as Holiday by the Bay, a name fit for an event that was celebrated at Ludovici Park, adjacent to Biscayne Bay. This year, the event has moved to Village Hall due to insufficient parking at the park location.
As in years past, the event will be marked by fun holiday activities, good food and great fun! Everyone will be treated to a cheery blend of student performances, carnival foods, arts & crafts, carnival rides and inflatables,
a faux snowstorm
, a car show, pictures with Santa and other special character appearances and surprises! Food and holiday craft vendors will add to the already awesome event with their delicious treats and unique merchandise.
Although the location has changed, your Parks and Recreation Department has put together an event that will be as fun and enjoyable as always.

- The Palmetto Bay Boat Parade happens tomorrow, December 16th at Coral Reef Park starting at 5:30 p.m. More info.
- Chabad of Palmetto Bay will be lighting the Grand Menorah at Coral Reef Park this Sunday, December 17th. More info.
- On Monday, December 18th, Council will hold the December Zoning Hearing at 7 pm, preceded by a Special Council Meeting at 6 pm; both at Village Hall.
- The Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for December 20th has been canceled.
- Village Hall and all Village parks will be closed on Christmas Day. Parks will close at 4 pm on Christmas Eve.
