We Switch to One Service on Sunday

Your Grace Office Staff
This Week's Message:
"The Adoption Process for God's Children "
Some of my most favorite stories are adoption stories.  Hearing how families come together, with God's guidance & blessing, fills me with awe.  The readings for Holy Trinity Sunday describe God's call to us through the Holy Spirit & Baptism.  The sermon will look at what it means to be adopted as God's children in our baptisms.

Pastor Heidi
Special Thursday Service May 31: Holden Evening Prayer and the Durlam's Faith Story
While Pastor Heidi is at Synod Assembly, our musician, Eryn Durlam, will be sharing her family's faith journey over the past several years.  Thank to Eryn for being brave and telling us all how God has led her and her family!  The choir will also be singing, and the liturgy will be the beautiful Holden Evening Prayer.  Please come at 6:30 for this special worship!
Church Office Closed on Monday
In observation on Memorial Day, Monday May 28, the church office will be closed.

Sunday School Offering Update
Thank you to all of our Sunday School students and families who have donated to our weekly Sunday School offering.  We raised a total of $464.38 this year!  That money will go to support our two sponsorship students in Nicaragua along with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  At the end of the year Sunday School celebration, the kids voted to support the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee with next year's offering.  So for next fall, we will continue to support our two Nicaraguan students along with the Ronald McDonald House.  Way to go in making a difference in the lives of others!
Vicente Guerrero 2018
To my Grace Church Family,

For the 4th time, I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Vicente Guerrero, Mexico this summer, and I would love for you to partner with me!

At the mission, we will spend time working in the orphanage, special school, daycare, clinic, women's shelter, and many other parts of the mission. We will also assist with outreach to members of the local community.

There are several ways you can partner with me.
If you feel led to give financially, you can do so by mail. No gift is too small. My goal is to raise $900 by 6/15/18 to fund both my expenses and the food and hygiene products I plan to purchase for the women's shelter. Checks can be mailed to: Kathryn Koppa, 600 S. Summit Dr, Port Washington, WI 53074.

If you feel led to support through prayer, I would love for you to pray for these areas during our trip:
* That our team would stay healthy and safe
* That our efforts would have a lasting impact in the community and at the mission
* That God will touch the lives of those on our team and those that we go to serve
* That God would use this trip to do immeasurably more than we could ask or predict for this community and His Kingdom.

Together, we can both be a small part of what God is doing to uplift the community in Vicente Guerrero, Baja, Mexico.

Thank you!

Your friend, Katy Koppa (262) 709-1985 Kkoppa223@gmail.com

Looking for "God's Work Our Hands" Planning Volunteers
Our annual day of congregational service is still over four months away (September 16), but we need to start thinking about what we will do. I will begin work on setting up activities, service projects and recruiting volunteers when I return from my sabbatical in early August. I am looking for some of you to help with this work by leading a project, coming up with ideas and helping with recruiting volunteers. Please let me know if you can be one of our "God's Work Our Hands" planning team.
